Delete your Barullo account
If you are waiting in a queue, you have no account to delete. Barullo does not ask for your name, your phone number or your email. All it keeps is an identifier for your device so it can alert you, and that is deleted on its own once your turn is over.
This page is for venues, which do have an account.
If you are only waiting for a turn (no account)
Anyone who scans a code to take a number has no account with an email: only an anonymous identity on the server. It deletes itself a day after your last turn, and you can delete it right now from «Delete my turns and alerts», at the foot of your turn screen on the web or in the Settings of the waiting profile in the app. You lose whatever number you are holding.
How to ask for it
Write to barullo.dev@gmail.com from the email address of your account, saying you want it deleted. That is all: there is no form and no paperwork.
You get an answer within one month at the latest, and usually the same day. We may ask you for something that confirms the account is yours, because nobody but you can ask for it to be deleted.
What is deleted and what is kept
Deletion is final: once it is done, your data is gone. There is no grace period and no way to get it back.
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Your email and your password | Deleted |
| The name of your venue | Deleted |
| Your closing times | Deleted |
| The turns in your queue | Deleted |
| Invoices and tax data for your subscription | Kept for as long as the law requires, even if you delete the account |
If people are waiting
Deleting the account closes your queue, and anyone who was waiting is told that it closed. Nobody is left waiting for an alert that is never coming.
Before deleting: cancel your subscription
Deleting your Barullo account does not cancel the subscription, because the charge is handled by the store and not by us. Cancel it from the subscription settings of Google Play or the App Store.
